This thoroughly engineered assembly incorporates a lead-free cast copper silicon alloy valve, a removable integral stainless steel strainer, a replaceable seat module, a thermal expansion bypass, and a high-temperature diaphragm. For installations in waterworks pits, it includes a sealed spring case secured with stainless steel cage screws. The bypass mechanism effectively manages thermal expansion pressure, allowing excess water pressure from the outlet side to return through the valve into the main supply when necessary. Its operational temperature range, from 33° F (0.5° C) to 180° F (82° C), guarantees dependable performance in diverse and demanding environments.
