Replacement Sensor Valve for Watts Instant Hot Water Recirculating Pump System

The Watts Premier Replacement Sensor Valve is designed for use on branched hot water lines coming from the water heater, serving as a replacement valve or for adding an additional valve where needed. It is exclusively compatible with the Watts Premier 500800 or 500805 Hot Water Recirculating Pump models, and should not be used with dedicated return lines to the water heater.

As an integral part of the hot water recirculating system, the sensor valve enhances hot water system efficiency by opening when the water on the hot water side cools, effectively pushing the cool water back to the water heater. The valve then closes once the hot water line reaches 98°F, reducing wait time and conserving water, thus improving comfort. The valve includes two 12" supply lines with adapter fittings to simplify installation and maintenance, and has a straightforward, hassle-free design that requires no additional components or specialized tools for installation. Thread sealant tape or pipe dope should not be used on the sensor valve threads during installation.

The Watts Premier Replacement Sensor Valve is compatible with all types of pipes and is designed for indoor use only on standard tank water heaters in residential buildings. It is not suitable for use with tankless water heaters or for outdoor applications.
